Brook Mead Academy is a new secondary school located on a vast site bordering Fosse Road North and Groby Road and housed in a multimillion-pound new state-of-the-art building, the only carbon net zero secondary school in the East Midlands. The was judged as OUTSTANDING in all categories by Ofsted in March 2024. As well as a strong academic offer encompassing Latin, a music scholarship programme and universal languages offer to year 11, we also have an extended school day to provide a rich and varied extracurricular offer. We cherish and challenge each of our scholars and seek to enable them to excel and flourish now and in later life.

We provide our scholars with all round support and offer a strong academic curriculum including foreign languages, history and geography alongside maths, English and science. Through this ambitious curriculum we strive to ensure all students have “access to the best which has been thought, said written and created in every field of human endeavour.”  Brook Mead Academy also believes in enabling scholars to develop their talents and all round character with sports, arts and music embedded into our extended school day.
