In an increasingly digital world, GCSE Media Studies provides essential skills in navigating and interpreting digital content. Students learn about the ethical considerations and responsibilities that come with creating and consuming media in our current age. The course combines creativity with theory, engaging students in planning and producing their own media products as well as providing opportunities for students to identify how media texts are created, how the context in which they are created has an influence on them and how representations can change over time.
